J&J Tooling Services has worked on most of the recent major aerospace projects in the UK, with the most prominent companies in the aerospace sector, including Airbus, Bae Systems, GKN, Smiths and Spirit AeroSystems.
Major projects include:
Airbus: A320 single aisle family, A330, A340, A380, A380F, A400M and Bae Systems: Euro Fighter Typhoon.
We are also looking forward to being involved in the development and production of the Airbus A350 XWB, extra wide-body aircraft.
Our main specialty is in the supply and support of Pneumatic Advanced Drilling Equipment (ADE) and other power tools from the Cooper Power Tools range, along with peripheral machine and jig tooling, for final assembly of airframe.

J&J Tooling Services has been working with our customers since 1972 to provide products and a service for drilling applications. With over 30 years experience, we have a working knowledge of our tooling and can provide our customers with technical assistance and advice.
Over the past number of years, the aerospace sector has increasingly dominated our customer base and to reflect this, we have incorporated the aerospace standard EN AS 9100 into our BS EN ISO9001;2000 quality standard and have registered on the OASIS database.
We also supply some Polycrystalline Diamond (PCD) tooling products such as wear parts for manufacturers of electronic components, tipped gun drills up to 1500 mm long, for the carbon and graphite industry and countersinks for aircraft carbon wing skins.
